Wind Dancers Two Sisters Enduro: August 21, 2004

Each year, members of the California Wind Dancers put on an Enduro, or endurance ride, around the Bay Area. Riders don't know the route until they show up that morning, and everyone rides alone throughout the day.

I'd been avoiding the Enduros for years, due to my embarrassing direction sense (or, more accurately, the lack thereof), but this year I decided to buck up and do the ride. Naturally, I absolutely adored it.

3rd checkpoint: Alice's Restaurant (La Honda)
4th checkpoint: Skyline and Hwy 9 parking lot (Saratoga)
Finish: Goodies restaurant (Campbell)
