Death Valley shopping

Though not as much fun as the actual trips themselves, shopping for trips is still pretty kewl.

Today, I bought:

Bikemaster Folding Mirrors:

Kenda Trackmaster 760 tires (80/100-21 front and 100/100-18 rear):

Now the only thing left to do is hook up our FRS radios to the bikes somehow…a feat we’ve tried and have failed at pretty consistently over the past 7 years.

I wonder if my iPod headphones will plug into the FRS….that would at least solve the speaker problem. Worst case then, I’ll hold the radio up to my helmet and yell into it to talk. 🙂
