Even more Las Vegas

Now that it’s morning and I’ve had eight hours of sleep and a cup of coffee, I feel like being more positive about life.  😉

Thus, here’s a “real” (i.e. non-cell phone camera) pic of Peter and Lovey at Zion. 

It took four hours from arriving in Vegas last night to being settled enough to have dinner, which is a story for another time.  Thus, over a midnight dinner, Peter and I decided to stay an extra day in Sin City.  Even I didn’t want to do 350 more miles of hard core backcountry desert today, and I love the desert with every grimy and dusty fiber of my being.

We’re going to load up the bikes since we have to switch hotels (the only slight inconvenience) and do a short day ride around Lake Mead and the Valley of Fire State Park.    Then we’re up for a relaxing evening of blackjack, beer, riding the monorail, and people-watching.
