Gonna get dirty this weekend!

So, why the reason for all the XT225 mods lately? Because we’re GOING RIDING, that’s why!!

A few of us over at Sport-Touring.net have dualsports in addition to our streetbikes, so we decided to do an overnight trip.

As you can see, we’ve got a wide range of steeds. 🙂

I’m so excited. Saturday should be a 220-mile ride from the Bay Area down to Parkfield, via Gloria Road and Hernandez Road (both dirt). We don’t have a return route yet, but we’re tossing around the idea of heading to the coast and taking South Ridge Road and Old Coast Road. *purr*

I’m so psyched! I took the XT on a 30 mile shakedown ride yesterday to make sure that our recent mods hold together well, and all systems are go. Woo! No want work! Want ride!
